I know that SCADA is in use by a large company in the Pittsburgh area that does Railroad Signals. Esterel, the language, always did have more visibility in Europe. Esterel was (is?) used by some large semiconductor houses like TI to develop their parts. You can see the former glory of esterel.org here: http://www-sop.inria.fr/esterel.org/files/Bob Paddockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17618766323977387437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2990432187813360269.post-6443184756992153052010-11-14T11:39:29.215-05:002010-11-14T11:39:29.215-05:00I was referring specifically to the Open Source ve...I was referring specifically to the Open Source version, not knowing how well the Open Source Releases and the VisualStudio releases would be kept in sync. Will an Open Source release drop right in every time? Perhaps you are confusing it with Scade, a suite sold by the Esterel Technologies company, and actually used industrially? There was a good list of industrial uses for Scade on its Wikipedia page, but that page has just been deleted as too close to advertising.Pascal Cuoqnoreply@blogger.com
